[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: (no subject)
I'm afraid I'm not very much "up" on my ancestors, as I should be, at my age. Abut all I have is a collection of oral tradition. My grandfather was a "deep shaft" miner in coal mines up and down the Ohio river and north west into southeastern Ohio for over 40 years...a better source on such things might be my cousin Dr. Von Hardesty, who is one of the curators of the Air and Space Museum at the Smithsonian. We, of course, have the same grandfather and his father, my father's brother, was Wilford Hardesty. Perhaps we can get back together some time over the internet.
