Lantz Surname

Hello Bob:

I came across your name as also researching the name Lantz and since I 
cannot find anyone researching a Virginia Lantz, I decided to try you 
anyway. Perhaps you know of someone else that might help me.

I am trying to find the last 3 of 14 children of John and Eliz. (Beam) 
Whetro and have not had any luck.

Their oldest child was Eliz. b. ca 1839 probably in Virginia. From info I 
now have it appears as if John & Elizabeth married in the USA but 
possibly came over on the same boat with other families from Germany. 
Anyway they lived in the Forestville, Shenandoah Co, VA area for about 20 
years moving to Mansfield, OH about 1858. 

The 1860 census does not mention Eliz. so it is presumed she had married 
by then. All I have found is the mention of her children receiving a 
small amount from their grandmother in her estate settlement in 1892 in 
Mansfield.

The children named were Emma (Lantz) Felton; William F., Milton H. and 
Edward M. Lantz.

It is possible that all died leaving no descendants but I would think 
some would have married.

I have no idea where to begin looking as no addresses were given in the 
estate paper. I have checked Virginia, but did not find mention of them 
on census records. Also did not find a marriage recorded in the 
Forestville area of Virginia.

Any help appreciated.
